Was XXXTentacion’s murder a random robbery?
Florida police are no closer to solving the murder of Florida rapper XXTentacion who was fatally shot on Monday afternoon local time.
According to his lawyer, David Bogenschutz, police told him they were working on the assumption that his violent death was caused by a random act of robbery and not from beefs that he had.
One assumption is that XXTentacion was seen withdrawing money at a bank for a deposit before going to upmarket Riva Motorsports in Deerfield Beach to look at buying a motorbike.
The 20-year-old was known to be splashing his money around after the chart-topping success of his ? album.
He had just bought a new $1.4 million home in the suburb of Parkland, and was driving a luxury BMW electric car.
He was driving the BMW out of the store’s car park when shot.
Police are looking for two black males in hoodies, with the shooter wearing a red mask.
They fled the scene in a dark-coloured SUV after allegedly taking a Louis Vuitton bag.
