Tim Bettison’s (pictured) Vancouver Sleep Clinic has signed a worldwide deal with global independent artist and label services company, Believe.
The news coincides with the release of his new single ‘Love You Like I Do’, ahead of his third studio album, Fallen Paradise, due out in July.
Believe’s country manager, Mick Tarbuk, said he was a long-term fan of the artist.
“I distinctly remember the first time I heard Tim’s vocals, it transported me to another place, another dimension,” he said.
“From that moment onwards, I’ve tried to strike up a partnership. The planets have finally aligned with the making of this beautiful album.
“‘Love You Like I Do’ is just a taste of what’s to come. I and the global artist services team can’t wait to launch the forthcoming album ‘Fallen Paradise’.”
Bettison also offered some insight into how the song came together.
“Created in the thick of a testing four-month separation from loved ones in locked-down London, ‘Love You Like I Do’ came as my declaration of promise to pull through whatever hell may present itself for the people I love,” he said.
Ahead of the album’s release, he said it’s the first time he’s reached “full peace” with himself as an artist.
“I think that just being in that whirlwind of seven, eight years has just been relentless. Naturally, for anyone going from that period of being a teenager to their mid-20s, it’s a crazy period of change.
“I never gave myself that time to be at peace with who I was or with what I wanted to be doing.
“I think that’s the biggest thing with this album – I had the time to reflect on everything, who I’d become.”
