Untitled Group to launch new label at Beyond The Valley festival
Untitled Group has added a second record label to its stable of bookings, management and tour offerings.
The Melbourne-based music company will launch All Night Records, a record label in partnership with Happen, at Beyond the Valley as it takes over the Dr Dan’s stage on December 29.
All Night Records has been pitched as the “slightly wayward sibling” of Untitled Group’s first record label Daily Nightly and is set to showcase the creativity and uniqueness of Melbourne’s dance music scene.
“We want the label to reflect the thriving late-night music scene that Melbourne is so renowned for,” said Label Director Daniel McFadyen.
With a focus on emerging local talent, the label hopes to offer emerging artists in Melbourne’s underground house and techno scene their time in the spotlight.
Untitled Group produces upwards of 100 events in Australia and abroad each year, and its activities reach into artist management and touring.
Untitled Group’s festival roster includes Wildlands, Beyond the Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Grapevine Gathering, Living Room Festival and Ability Fest.
Its flagship Beyond The Valley camping fest began in 2014, and runs each year through the New Year’s Eve period. The boutique event attracts some 15,000 party-goers and has featured such big names as Chance The Rapper, Jamie XX and many more.
Alongside its artist management (Owl Eyes, Ivan Ooze), record label, and touring companies, Untitled has joined forces with Happen Group who look after the bookings and events for Melbourne venues including Xe54, Bourke St Courtyard, Shed 9, and Brown Alley, among others.
