Untitled Group Expands, Recruits Lukas Setyadi and Kelly McDonnell (EXCLUSIVE)

Untitled Group continues to expand, this time with senior recruits Lukas Setyadi and Kelly McDonnell.

The Melbourne-based independent concerts and events producer names Lukas Setyadi as senior marketing manager. Setyadi joins UG after an eight-year stint as senior brand & marketing manager at Mushroom Group, where he led tour marketing under Matt Gudinski’s Illusive Presents / MG Live divisions.

He joins the company with a CV stacked with experience, working on domestic tours for Drake, Tyler, The Creator; Khalid; Fatboy Slim; and Macklemore, as well as festival brands like Fridayz Live (aka RnB Fridays Live), Vine Days, and So Pop.

Prior to joining Mushroom Group, Setyadi enjoyed stints with Seven Network Sydney and Pernod Ricard Australia, and with Paramount Pictures and Sony Pictures International in London before that.

At UG, Setyadi has already overseen campaigns for Groove Armada, MK, and John Summit.

“This music industry has given a lot to me, and I’ve loved learning and adapting as Australia’s touring market has changed over the better part of a decade,” comments v Setyadi in a statement.

“Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some of the brightest people, work on countless world class tours, and make countless friends. I’m so excited to bring what I’ve learnt to date to Australia’s most exciting music and events promoter, Untitled Group.”

Meanwhile, McDonnell is appointed as senior ticketing manager at UG.

Most recently, McDonnell served as ticketing manager at Live Nation APAC and, previously, with Handsome Tours, now part of TEG Group, working on tours including Noah Kahan, Queens Of The Stone Age, Bon Iver and more.

McDonnell has extensive and ticketing venues experience at Melbourne Parks (Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park, John Cain Arena, Margaret Court Arena), a six-year run during which she was ticketing manager for Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Queen, Harry Styles, as well as managing UFC234 at Rod Laver Arena.

In other news, ex-Live Nation and Mushroom Group employee Gian Flores recently joined the UG finance team as senior accountant, and the business has promoted Andrew Greco to campaign manager and Sam Hayes to senior design manager.

“We’re thrilled to welcome several new appointments to the Untitled Group family,” enthuses Untitled Group’s general manager Andrew White. “Their wealth of experience in the music industry make them a perfect fit for our team. As we continue to expand our headline touring divisions, their expertise and passion will be invaluable in bringing world-class artists and unforgettable experiences to Australian audiences.”

Untitled Group is coming off a “record-breaking” 2024, during which the independent company sold over 630,000 tickets across its events and tours, up from the 500,000 in 2023.

Among the biggest moment of the touring calendar was UG’s Dom Dolla tour, which shifted 170,000 tickets — a record for an Australian electronic artist.
