Untitled Group, Amplify Music Education Recognised on AFR ‘Fast’ Lists List
Untitled Group and Amplify Music Education are the music enterprises motoring on the Australian Financial Review’s Fast Lists.
Melbourne-based Untitled Group, the independent concert, festival and events organiser, appears at No. 43 on the AFR Fast 100, while Amplify Music Education, the Sydney-based musical education specialist, cracks the AFR Fast Starters at No. 42.
“Being named on the AFR Fast 100 List is an incredible recognition of Untitled Group’s growth and innovation over the past decade,” comments Christian Serrao, co-founder & director, Untitled Group, with responsibilities for commercial growth.
“It’s a testament to the hard work of our team and the support of the music community that has made our vision for unique, world-class events a reality.”
For its slate of brands, including Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Grapevine Gathering, For The Love and Ability Fest, which expands with a show in Brisbane, Untitled won Variety AU’s inaugural Live Business Award, presented June 13 at the Live Business Breakfast in Sydney.
Those 500,000 tickets sold across its 2023/24 festival season, was a “record-breaking” result, as the team produced upwards of 250 events and festivals, booked more than 1,000 artists across its range of fests, tours and clubs shows, and organised just shy of 100 artist tours.
This AFR honour, Serrao continues, “inspires us to keep pushing boundaries and delivering experiences that resonate deeply with audiences. We’re excited to continue shaping Australia’s live music landscape across the next decade.”
Amplify Music Education is recognised just two years after its launch, a music tech startup with a mission to reintroduce music to the classroom.
“We’re thrilled to see Amplify Music Education recognised on the AFR Fast Starters List. This milestone reflects our mission to make music education accessible to every primary school, empowering teachers to inspire the next generation of young musicians,” comments Natalie Kradolfer, co-founder & managing director, Amplify Music Education.
“Being named alongside Australia’s fastest-growing businesses is a huge honour and a testament to the incredible work of our team. As we prepare for our next funding round, we’re excited to expand our impact both nationally and internationally, ensuring no child misses out on the joy of learning music.”
Top spot on the Fast 100 List for established companies is air medical assistance company Medevac Flights.
Coming in at No. 1 on the 2024 Fast Starters List for companies less than five years old is XRecruiter, a tech firm that provides back-end services to enable an individual recruiter to run a recruitment agency.
