Universal appoints Florian Jungbauer to newly created marketing role

Universal Music has appointed Florian Jungbauer as Senior Vice President Marketing – Consumer Engagement & Digital Partner Management, South East Asia, effective Thursday 30th April 2015.
In this newly created role, Florian will leadthe strategic planning, development and implementation of integrated global social media, content, community, fan engagement and digital marketing for Universal Music and its artists across the region.
Florian has extensive senior executive management experience leading teams in digital, creative and social media within high profile advertising agencies, most recently as MD with Vocanic – Southeast Asia's largest Social Media Marketing firm and part of the world's largest media agency network GroupM – and Ogilvy & Mather’s Redworks – Digital (both part of the international WPP Group). Florian managed strategic consulting and digital/social strategy for all major accounts, leading his teams in developing innovative social media solutions and integrated campaigns for high-end clients across FMCG, Telco, Finance, Fashion and Food & Beverage industries.
Based in Hong Kong, Florian will play a critical role in leading, influencing and developing Universal MusicSouth East Asia’s digital marketing and consumer engagement and will be a key digital, social and media leader for the whole organization across the region.
