Uncharted: 22-year-old Melbourne local goes head-to-head with Backstreet Boys
Rojdar feat. Kyla Fava – Bad (LIB/MUSH)
22-year-old Melbourne producer and DJ Rojdar has been making waves in 2018, with his latest effort ‘Bad’ featuring vocals by fellow Victorian Kyla Fava.
This feel-good summer anthem was mixed by Zedd’s Grammy-winning sound engineer Ryan Shanahan, and his influence on the track is easily felt.
Rojdar’s breakthrough debut single ‘Ignition’ ft. JAYS took 5th spot on TMN’s Most Added to Radio chart, but we’re tipping this latest tune to go even better this week at radio.
Backstreet Boys – Chances (RCA/SME)
The latest single from Backstreet Boys comes from their forthcoming 10th studio album to be released in January 2019. ‘Chances’ was written by one of Australian radio’s favourite sons — Shawn Mendes.
The track could be set for success following after their last effort ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ was second on TMN’s Most Added chart earlier this year.
The release of ‘Chances’ coincides with the announcement of a World Tour, with Aussie fans keeping their eyes peeled after US and Europe dates were announced over the weekend.
Busby Marou – Sound Of Summer (WMA)
Aussie country duo Busby Marou have had limited joy at commercial radio in the past, but their latest cut ‘Sound Of Summer’ could be the track to break the mould.
This country-pop crossover could be their most accessible track to date by the Queenslanders who’ve been touring relentlessly this year and have also had their music feature on a recent QLD tourism campaign.
