Ultra locks in Melbourne gear-up event for 2018

After last month declaring its entry into the Australian market, via an on-stage announcement at its Miami signature event, Ultra Music Festival has revealed its planned dates for this part of the world.

It will enter in two stages. The first is part of its single-day, single-stage Road To Ultra, which will happen in Melbourne in February 2018.

The full Ultra experience, on multiple stages over a couple of days, comes in 2019, taking in both Melbourne and Sydney.

More details will be released over the coming months, the festival said in a statement.

Road To Ultra will be presented byPSV Group Australia, in partnership with Melbourne-based EDM agency, label and event company Lucky Ent / WAO.

Ultra is also entering China and India in 2017. It plays Shanghai on September 9 and 10. The first Indian show is in New Delhi in September, and in Mumbai in February 2018. There is also a weekly party series at Privilege in Ibiza.
