Troye Sivan will return to the 2018 ARIAs

Troye Sivan is returning from his Los Angeles base to be a presenter at the November 28 ARIA Awards in Sydney.

He has been playing to full houses on the North American leg of his Bloom album tour.

The singer-songwriter is up for four awards on the night, including Apple Music album and song of the year categories as well as best male artist and best pop release.

Sivan said this morning, “So excited to be coming home to Australia for the ARIA awards and to be nominated alongside all of the other incredible Aussie musicians.”

Following the ARIAs, he heads to the National Gallery of Victoria’s gala event on December 1, which coincides with the opening of the world-premiere exhibition, Escher X nendo I Between Two Worlds.

Bloom has accumulated more than 1 billion combined streams globally.

It spawned the double-platinum smash “My, My, My”, and gold singles “Bloom” and “Dance To This” ft. Ariana Grande.

It debuted at # 3 on the ARIA chart, #4 on the US Billboard 200 and Top 10 in the UK and over a dozen other countries.

Over his total releases, Sivan has now reached 4 billion streams and 3 million albums (adjusted).

He features on the new Charli XCX hit “1999”, performing it with her on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon last week.

He had a role in the movie Boy Erased and contributed a song Revelation” to its soundtrack, and also cut a version of Queen’s “Somebody To Love” to raise funds for Freddie Mercury’s AIDS Phoenix Foundation.
