triple j Unearthed announce Lorde remix contest

In their biggest remix challenge since offering budding producers the chance to rework the Playschool theme, triple j Unearthed this morning announced their latest competition: a hunt fora killer Aussie remix of Lorde’s single ’Homemade Dynamite’.

Producers who think they can take on the challenge are instructed to download the track stems from the competition page on Unearthed, and go wild adding their own vocals, verses or other elements as they see fit.

Remixes can then be uploaded to each act’s Unearthed page with the hashtag #LordeRMX to be in the running for tickets to Lorde’s live shows in November, a triple j prize pack and “srs bragging rights”.

Entries are open now and close on October 15 at midnight.

The track has alreadycopped a high-profile remix, with a feature list boasting some of the biggest breakout acts of the year: Khalid, SZA and Post Malone. The rework, released earlier this month, is more-beat heavy than the original, but doesn’t completely overhaul it.
