triple j ‘lost the plot’ over Select Music’s new signing, Dulcie [EXCLUSIVE]
Earlier this year the team over at triple j Unearthed announced they had “lost the plot” over Dulcie and their debut single ‘Fall’. Today, the track has been added to high rotation on triple j, just weeks after a spot rotation add.
Having only formed in mid-2018, the Perth indie-pop girl band have had a banner few months. This includes multiple 4 and 5 star single reviews, and support shows with the likes of Great Gable, Mosquito Coast, Spacey Jane, Winterbourne, Demon Days, Riley Pearce and Wooly Mammoth.
Now, as TIO can exclusively reveal, Ashleigh Carr-White (keys and vocals), Saskia Brittain (guitar and vocals), Timieka Denton (bass and vocals) and Madison Hanley (drums) have signed to Select Music. Select will now handle all of Dulcie’s Australia and New Zealand bookings.
In good hands with Select Agent Casey O’Shaughnessy, and on the same roster as acts like The Preatures, Stella Donnelly and Skegss, Dulcie‘s mix of mesmerising harmonies and driving rhythms is about to get a whole lot louder.
“I am incredibly proud to welcome Dulcie into the Select Music family,” explains Casey O’Shaughnessy. “The moment I heard ‘Fall’ I knew they were special and I can’t wait to take on 2019 and beyond with them!”

“We are absolutely thrilled with the response to ‘Fall’, and so excited for it to be added to full rotation on triple j!” said Dulcie. “We are also so happy to have Casey and Select Agency on board with us, and cannot wait for everything that’s coming up in 2019.”
