Tones And I lands second Aussie airplay #1

A milestone-filled 2019 has passed, but Tones And I is doubling down in 2020 and has already ticked another box, landing her second #1 on the Australian airplay charts.

‘Never Seen The Rain’ goes top of the TMN Hot 100 powered by Radio Monitor this week, in its 26th charting week.

The single retains its top spot on the TMN Australian Airplay Chart as well.

It’s the second single from her EP The Kids Are Coming to crack top spot, following breakout 2019 hit ‘Dance Monkey’, which placed second in triple j’s Hottest 100 of last year.

‘Never Seen The Rain’ came in at #15 the national broadcaster’s annual countdown, while debut single ‘Johnny Run Away’ landed at #26.

A first single of the year for Jonas Brothers was welcomed by commercial radio, as new cut ‘What A Man Gotta Do’ gets a high debut at #18.

Other debuts within the Top 50 come from Peking Duk ft. Alisa Xayalith of The Naked And Famous with ‘Move’, and Conan Gray’s new tune ‘Maniac’.
