Three Six Zero Group, the artist management company behind Calvin Harris and Deadmau5, has teamed with Warner Music Group to launch a record label and publishing arm.

The eight-year-old company has today launched its label Three Six Zero Music and its publishing division Three Six Zero Publishing with the signing of three acts worldwide: Australia’s own EDM duo Cut Snake (Paul Fisher and Leigh Sedley), who signed with Three Six Zero in 2013, LA-based DJ/production duo GTA (Julio Mejia and Matt Toth) and LA-based singer/songwriter Anabel Englund.

Three Six Zero co-founders Mark Gillespie and Dean Wilson have inked deals with Warner/Chappell Music (WCM) and Warner Bros. Records for the partnership.

“Warner Bros. Records and Warner/Chappell Music are powerhouses in contemporary music,” said Gillespie. “There’s no better group to team with as we look at new ways to blend genres and help developing artists break through and established artists cross over.” Co-founder Dean Wilson added, “We’re extending our services with collaborations like these to give artists as many opportunities as possible to let their music and talent reach full potential.”

Cameron Strang, who heads up both Warner Bros. Records and Warner/Chappell Music said: “By bringing together Warner Bros. Records and Warner/Chappell with Three Six Zero, we’re creating a full service music company for exciting new artists. Dean Wilson and Mark Gillespie have swiftly established their company as a creative force and we’re excited to work with them.”

Sunshine Coast’s Cut Snake are currently based in the San Diego; the pair will perform the Budwiser Made in America Festivals alongside Kanye West and Imagine Dragons in August and September. According to Record Of The Day, a tour and music releases are in the works.

The collective already has ties with Jay Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation; Gillespie and Wilson teamed with the company, home to Rihanna, Calvin Harris and Kylie Minogue, in 2011 for business projects including live events, recordings and sponsorships.

Both Gillespie and Wilson will take the lead on both venture’s A&R, while Jessica Wilson, Three Six Zero’s VP of Music will oversee day-to-day operations.

Three Six Zero has offices in London, LA and New York.
