The Wolfe Brothers land 13th Australian country airplay #1
The Wolfe Brothers are the latest local act to top the Australian country airplay chart, with their single ‘No Brakes’ going to #1 in just its fifth charting week.
The track jumps six frames this week on the TMN Country Hot 50 powered by Radio Monitor, leaping past last week’s top song ‘I Got This’ by The McClymonts.
The achievement comes just over a month after The Wolfe Brothers inked a global independent deal with BMG, joining BMG-owned BBR Music Group in Nashville.
“The Wolfe Brothers. Nick and Tom write world-class songs and are incredible live performers,” said Jon Loba, EVP at BBR Music Group in Nashville. “The minute our staff heard the first single ‘No Brakes’, they were in and wanted to be involved.
Meanwhile the latest single by The Buckleys reached a new peak this week of #3, rising three spots. The band hit #1 on the chart in 2019 with their single ‘Daydream’.
Meanwhile on the TMN Hot 100, Doja Cat’s ‘Say So’ goes for the top of the chart.
There’s a new peak for ‘Look Into My Eyes’ by Brando (#3), and BENEE’s ‘Supalonely’ featuring Gus Dapperton (#5).
Hot 100 stalwart Katy Perry has the highest debut this week as ‘Daisies’ lands at #32.
Jones Brothers also debut their latest song ‘X’ featuring Karol G on the chart (#33).
