The Money War sign global deal with Mirror Publishing: Exclusive
The Money War is fully weaponised.
The Western Australia indie-pop duo has signed a global publishing deal with Mirror Publishing, a newly-formed joint venture with BMG, TIO can exclusively reveal.
Mirror Publishing is part of the Mirror Music Group, which has represented artists across its label and management company from Gang Of Youths to Charlie Collins, Middle Kids, Brad Cox, Sloan Peterson and more.
Formed in 2016 around the core of Dylan and Carmen Ollivierre, The Money War was never going to remain a mystery for long.
The pair has enjoyed a wad of critical praise, following dates at Southbound, FOTSUN, SXSW and Bigsound, and they’ve toured with the likes of Neil Finn, Meg Mac, Dope Lemon and Holy Holy.
Another breakthrough came in 2019, when their debut album Home was nominated for The Australian Music Prize.
Their dreamy 2020 single ‘Nothing’s Gonna Change’ caught the attention of tastemakers. Triple J Unearthed Music Director Dave Ruby Howe described it as a “gorgeous” and “warm” track. “What can’t they do,” he adds.

BMG represents a vast roster, including homegrown acts Tim Minchin, Dune Rats, Hockey Dad and Dope Lemon.
“Songwriting has always been the main focus of the Money War and my relationship to music generally – creating songs is my favourite thing in the world to do so it’s really great to have a team behind us to support that,” comments Dylan.
