The Jungle Giants, Luca Brasi lead bill for new Hunter Valley festival ’FKA’
A new Australian festival called FKA (Formerly Known As) is coming to the Hunter Valley this October.
The festival has unveiled the first round of its all-Australian lineup of indie rock artists; further proof that winery shows are no longer the exclusive domain of music events for Baby Boomers and Gen X.
Hope Estate in Polkobin will play host to Brisbane act The Jungle Giants, Tasmanian punk outfit Luca Brasi, Melbourne band Kingswood and fellow Melbourne singer-songwriter Ali Barter.
They’ll be joined by The Belligerents, Maddy Jane, Tired Lion and Trophy Eyes, with more acts yet to be announced.
Hope Estate has garnered a reputation for hosting big concerts, having played host to festivals and concerts including Hot Dub Wine Machine, The Rolling Stones,Elton John, Rod Stewart, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac,Angus & Julia Stone and many more down the years.
FKA’s official website announces the festival as “bringing a new generation of music lovers to the hunter valley,” and it will also feature food trucks and Hope Estate’s acclaimed wine and beer.
The inaugural FKA goes down on Saturday October 13 at Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Tickets go on sale viaMoshtix from Monday March 5, with ’SIP Happens VIP Lounge’ tickets available as well as exclusive The Club Deck passes, as well as GA.
