The Hottest 100 Australian managers of 2019!
Another year, another Hottest 100 in the bag!
While music fans and avid countdown-lovers bask in the afterglow of the huge day that was yesterday, we’re throwing the spotlight back onto the people who helped get those artists to place they are today: managers.
A whopping 65 songs out of this year’s 100 belonged to Australian artists, continuing the trend of the Hottest 100 in 2018 and 2017. Here, we look at the managers behind those artists, ranked in order of how well their artists performed.
As with last year’s countdown, our ranking system follows pretty simple lines. For example, Flume coming in at #2 this year would give his manager a score of 99. #3, the spot belonging to Mallrat this year, gives her manager a score of 98.
Take a look at this year’s list below; some new entrants have made it this year, while others have moved up multiple spots too. Congratulations to everyone involved in being part of what was an incredible year of Australian music!
