Southbound’s collab with Shannon Noll tops the TMN Country Hot 50

Southbound’s collab with Shannon Noll tops the TMN Country Hot 50

Country music supergroup Southbound summit the TMN Country Hot 50 this week.

The Sydney-based band’s latest – ‘Find Our Way’ – features Shannon Noll and arrives in the top position after just five weeks on the official country airplay chart, powered by Radio Monitor.

Southbound are Missy Lancaster, Rachael Fahim, Sarah Bernardo and Andrea Krakovska.

The band’s manager, Paul Paoliello, said he is “extremely proud” of all involved.

“It’s a very rewarding moment when you have a song written and produced by our team, translate for our artist and is co-written and features an Aussie icon and new client – Shannon Noll – become a hit across DSPs and now a #1 radio hit,” Top Dog Group CEO Paoliello told TMN.

The track is enjoying right rotation support from Australian radio stations, including Kix Country, ABC Country, Triple M Country, Country Capital Radio and Australian Country Radio.

The summery anthem ‘Find Our Way’ was co-written by Nollsie, who said Southbound are an “incredibly talented group of young women” who he has been following for some time.

The former Australian Idol star has been keeping busy. Greyhound Australia announced this week it had enlisted Noll for its latest ad campaign using his song ‘Drive’.

Keith Urban and P!nk’s ‘One Too Many’ drops one frame this week to #2. The only new Top 10 entry is ‘Greatest Show On Earth’ by Davisson Brothers Band, featuring Amber Lawrance, at #8.

Followers of the country chart should expect a shakeup in the Top 20 in weeks ahead with new releases from Carrie Underwood, Matt Scullion, Hayley Jensen Cam, and even some new Christmas songs from for King & Country and Troy Cassar-Daley.
