Sounds Australia, AIR, PPCA call on labels for Indie Week
Sounds Australia,AIR andPPCAcalling on Australian independent labels to take part in the Australian delegation to theAmerican Association of Independent Music’s (A2IM’s)Indie Weekin New York City this June.
Last year’s members-only Indie Week conference featured over 700 music execs, including those from WIN (Worldwide Independent Network), MERLIN and IMPALA, from over 15 countries, including Australia, UK, China, France, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Canada, Korea, Japan and New Zealand.
This year’s delegation will also take in SyncSummit in NYC, a two-day networking event for music supervisors, heads of music in visual and interactive media (TV, Film, Video Games, Advertising, the Internet and Mobile), label executives, publishers, composers, artists, technologists, brand managers and service providers.
10 representatives of Australian labels will attend Indie Week and SyncSummit.Interested parties must complete the survey by Monday February 2.
Indie Week 2015 will be held in New York City from Mon 22to Fri 26 June. SyncSummit will be held in New York City Thu 18and Fri 19 June.
