Sony Music Australia & Fangate Music partner with Dreamlined Entertainment

Fangate Music, a label run by famed Australian country music promoter Rob Potts, in conjunction with Sony Music Australia, have today announced their partnership with Dreamlined Entertainment.

Fangate Music, which was formed in August last year, has seen exceptional performance since its inception, and this success has now lead to a new venture for the label, allowing them to team up with the acclaimed highly-acclaimed Dreamlined Entertainment.

As Broadway World reports, Dreamlined Entertainment is a production, publishing, and record company based in Nashville, which has a focus songwriter and artist development. Founded by Grammy Award-winning producer Keith Stegall early last year, the company has also gone from strength to strength, with their strength bolstered in part by the success that Stegall has seen in the past.

Having served as a producer for acts such as Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson, Stegall has overseen the production of 55 number one hits, has received over 40 million airplays as a songwriter, and has managed to be involved in the production of records whose sales number close to 70 million.

“I’m extremely excited to be partnering up with Fangate and Sony Music Australia. It’s an incredible opportunity and I look forward to working with Denis Handlin, Rob Potts and all the talented folks down under,” said Keith Stegall in a statement.

As Broadway World notes, Rob Potts is also extremely excited about the partnership. “It is great to be able to start my Label off with such a legendary music producer and the Dreamlined partnership,” he said.

“I have known Keith Stegall for many years and am a huge fan of his work and can think of no one I would sooner have music from to launch the Fangate imprint. There are some exciting music artists and projects to come from this joint venture.”

Dennis Handlin AO, chairman and CEO of Sony Music Australia also weighed in, expressing his pride in the venture. “We are very proud to be working with Rob and Keith on this brilliant new venture,” he said.

“This is the start of what will be a long term and exciting relationship between, Sony Music Australia, Fangate and the Dreamlined label.”
