Two Senior Departures Confirmed at Sony Music Australia

Two senior departures have been confirmed at Sony Music Australia this week.
Senior Director, Creative Services, Bec Adams - who worked at the business across Australia and the UK over the last 15 years - wrapped up at the label this week.
Sony Music Australia's Senior Content Producer, Kerrod Cooper, has also exited this week.
The Music Network understands that both roles were made redundant.
Adams first joined Columbia Records in the UK as a Marketing Assistant in 2010, before moving through the ranks to Senior Marketing Manager in 2017.

In 2019, she moved to Sydney to work as Sony Music Australia's Senior Director Marketing before taking on the Senior Director, Creative Services position last year.
“I'm immensely grateful for the exceptional teams I've worked with, the friendships made and the legendary artists we've supported,” Adams said.

“It’s one thing to meet your heroes, it’s another feeling entirely to be part of their team. Right now I’m grateful for the gift of more time with my daughter and to map out my next move.”
Meanwhile, Cooper joined Sony Music Australia in 2018 and has made music videos for some of the label's biggest names, including Amy Shark and Guy Sebastian.

“I had a blast the past eight years getting to share creative passions with other creatives and artists," Cooper said.
“So honoured to be a part of their process and help in any way I could.”
The Music Network has contacted Sony Music Australia for comment.
