Indie label Sweat It Out signs SLUMBERJACK for new music
Australian electronic music duo SLUMBERJACK are readying to release new music on July 21, signing a recording contract with Sweat It Out.
“We’ve had our eye on Sweat since we first started SLUMBERJACK many years ago,” Morgan Then and Fletcher Ehlers told TMN. “They’re a staple in the Aus music scene and we couldn’t be happier to finally be releasing some music with them!”
SLUMBERJACK have over 100+ million streams across their releases to date, as well as Gold-certified records for both their self-titled EP and hit single ‘Fracture’.
With a slew of successful singles including ‘Hide and Seek’ from the 2019 Sarawak EP, the pair have become mainstays for rotation on triple j, while previously earning praise for their epic rendition of M.I.A.’s hit single ‘Paper Planes’ for triple j’s Like A Version.
Josh Kellett, the Sydney-based label’s general manager, welcomed Then and Ehlers.
“The whole team here at the label are huge fans of SLUMBERJACK and have been wanting to work with them for quite some time now,” Kellett said. “I’m very excited to have them join the family and we cannot wait to share with the world what they’ve got coming.”
SLUMBERJACK joins a roster that includes What So Not, RÜFÜS, Dom Dolla and Anna Lunoe.
