Sweat It Out and Central Station Records have announced some big new hires and promotions across the business.

To coincide with her fifth anniversary, Evie Preston has been elevated to Head of Marketing and Communications and will oversee global output across both labels.

Joining Preston's team includes Elfira Vania Suginawan from The Annex Creative as Marketing Manager, and Mel Hall as Media & Communications Coordinator.

Meanwhile, Matt Nugent's role has expanded to Chief Operating Officer & A&R, in which he will lead Central Station's A&R department. Ben Miller has also taken on the expanded position of A&R & Club Promotions Manager, while Charlie Shell joins as A&R and Claire Rayner as Publishing A&R.

On the creative and events side of the business, Claudia Riley has been announced as Design & Creative Manager. Riley comes across from New Zealand where she worked as a producer and DJ and even played the famous Rhythm & Vines festival.

Finally, Lee McDermott and Chloe Azzam have joined the Legal and Business Affairs team.

“Australian dance culture is completely one-of-a-kind, and that’s why our scene has seen so much success both at home and overseas,” Jamie Raeburn, Managing Director of Sweat It Out and Central Station Records, said.

"Our team is built from the ground up with people who live and breathe this music. Bringing in people from the community, like Mell Hall and Charlie Shell, who is out there DJing every weekend, gives us the real-time intuition we need to drive the genre forward and achieve more for our artists."
