SCA’s Group Content Director Craig Bruce departs

After close to 30 years with the company and five years in charge of Australia’s largest commercial radio group,Craig Brucehas departed Southern Cross Austereo as Group Content Director.

Bruce shared the following with all SCA Staff:

“The people at SCA have been like a second family to me for virtually all of my working life. I started as a mid-dawn Announcer at the Fox in 1988 and have been fortunate enough to work with some of the most passionate and talented content creators in the world – as a true radio fan-boy, it's been an incredible experience.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of success for SCA as it heads into an exciting new phase.”

Southern Cross Austereo CEO and Managing DirectorGrant Blackley said:“Craig is well known in the industry as one of the best and we’ve been lucky enough to have him working in the business for nearly 30 years. We thank him for his contribution and wish him every success for the future”.

Bruce has been responsible for the ratings and content of Australia’s largest commercial radio group including 10 metro brands falling under the Today Hit Network (Fox FM, 2Day, hit929, hit107m hit105), the Triple M Network and over 70 regional markets.

Bruce has been in the SCA Group CD Role since 2010. Prior he was Today Network Group PD and SAFM PD for a number of years. It brings to a close a 27 year association with Austereo and post-merger, Southern Cross Austereo.
