Satellite 13 launches music consultancy
Satellite 13 Entertainment Group is adding a music consultancy.
A trio of executives lead the new division, Satellite 13 Music Consultancy, which, according to a statement, is there to help artists achieve their goals, manage their business, and assist in the quest to monetise their creations.
Two years in development, the new unit is led by group Managing Director and founder Adrian Lloyd, along with Auckland-based A&R Manager / Artist Manager Michelle Bakker, and London-based Content Manger / Producer Andrew Phillips.
“Resilience, focus, and tunnel vison are all qualities they need to cultivate and that is where we can help to act as a bridge between the artists’ dreams and the execution of practical strategies,” explains Lloyd, who established the multi-platform music business back in 2014.
“We provide advice based on real life experience, plus manage, and guide the artists’ expectations of the music industry.”
With this new venture, reads the blurb on Satellite 13’s official site, its advisors can connect clients to radio plugging, online music blogs, playlist pitching and industry publications, plug into its internal and external digital marketing teams, and more.
“We can help design campaign strategies that are suited to all releases and budgets,” reads the pitch.
“We also have expertise in release strategy, international touring and digital marketing across Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Spotify and the Google network.”
The music consultancy sits alongside Satellite 13’s existing activities, which include artist management, digital music distribution, record production, music publishing and music marketing.
Satellite 13 is headquartered in Perth, and currently works with such acts as Elysa, Natalie Saint Martin and Ella.
