Fremantle outfit San Cisco are on track to equal or better their highest charting ARIA album, with the debut of their latest record Between You and Me.

The album has been released through indie label Island City records.

According to mid-week data, the album looks set for Top 3 debut, and the band will hope they can go one better than 2015’s Gracetown which peaked at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

It contains eleven tracks including several released over the past year including ‘Skin’, ‘Flaws’ and ‘On The Line’.

But they face stiff competition from a record which is celebrating its 20th anniversary by some absolutely legends of Aussie rock.

Powderfinger recently dropped the 20th Anniversary Edition of their seminal Odyssey Number 5, and the album looks set to bounce back towards the top of the chart.

The record, released by Universal Music Australia, previously made it to #1 on the chart after debuting in September of the year 2000, and has spent 82 weeks on the chart in total.

Mushroom Group’s COVID-19 Anzac Concert album Music From The Home Front is also being hotly tipped to return to the Top 3 this week.

It previously spent two weeks atop the chart following its release in July.

Overnight San Cisco performed tracks from Between You and Me via a livestream on their socials.
