Sametime sign booking deal with Four Tone Artists
Sunshine Coast duo Sametime is the latest group to join the Four Tone Artists booking agency roster.
The group, who recently released their sophomore EP Maybe We Can Get High? via Ditto Music Australia, will join the likes of Hooligan Hefs, Didirri, Cry Club and Bec Sandridge at the boutique agency.
Sametime’s Tim Aitken said that the band was thrilled to join the Four Tone Artists roster and were developing its live show ahead of hitting the road.
“Sam and I have a natural affinity with Four Tone Artists’ awesome roster of acts,” Aitken said.
“We are stoked to join forces with such a young and forward-thinking agency, and the chance to present our live show to more of Australia is absolutely thrilling.”
Four Tone Artists’ Adam Montgomery praised Sametime’s prowess as writers and performers and welcomed them to the agency’s roster.
“I heard ‘Moving On’ and was instantly blown away. The songwriting and live show is beyond their years, and I couldn’t be happier to be part of the team and steering the ship on the touring side,” Montgomery said.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the band grow and establishing themselves as career artists.”
Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson and Tony Aitken, who both manage the group, heralded Sametime as one of Australia’s best emerging acts and said that their signing with Four Tone couldn’t have come at a better time.
“Sametime’s new association with Four Tone Artists is perfect timing, coming at a period when the band’s live show is beginning to prove itself worthy of a more strategic and aggressive approach,” Dicko and Aitken said.
“Adam Montgomery and his team are building a truly impressive business with a sparky attitude that we are all very grateful to be part of.”
