Ruby Fields inks Primary Talent International bookings deal
New South Wales indie-rocker Ruby Fields has already had a mammoth few years.
A stunning triple j Like A Version, multiple entries in the acclaimed Hottest 100 Countdown, shows in all corners of the world, and, a freshly released incredible EP Permanent Hermit. She’ll also be taking in city centres and some regional spots in her Australian tour which commences next week.
“Insanely keen to get back on road for a proper tour with heaps of new songs and EP coming very soon!! Been a huge year already with Hottest 100, Like A Version and Laneway shows and can’t wait to crack on. Come watch a few eternally average losers and have a few with us,” she said.
Now, the 21-year-old has just scored a booking deal with Primary Talent International. Yep, that same booking agency who handle the touring careers of Catfish & The Bottlemen, Oasis, and The Cure.
Fields’ live bookings will now be taken care of by PTI’s Ben Winchester and Charlie Renton, as part of an already stacked roster which includes DMA’s, Jack River and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
The Australian singer’s freshly penned booking deal will see Winchester take care of her bookings in Europe and the UK, with her Australian, South-East Asian and New Zealand bookings still being taken care of by Select Music’s Casey O’Shaughnessy.
Most recently, O’Shaughnessy booked Fields’ quickly selling national tour, and O’Shaughnessy’s work has meant Fields has scored performances at major touring festivals including Laneway. Soon, Fields will also play at July’s Splendour in The Grass.
This is great news for Ruby, who’ll now be able to expand her market with a specialised and more globalised booking approach.
