Rolling Stone Australia Reader’s Choice Award 2023: Nominate Now!
The third annual Rolling Stone Australia Awards are less than two months away, and voting is now open for the coveted Reader’s Choice Award.
The Rolling Stone Australia 2023 Awards will take place in Sydney on April 4th, paying tribute to the wonderful year that was in Australian music.
The finest artists from around the country will be honoured in several categories: Best Record, Best Single, Best New Artist, the Rolling Stone Global Award, and the Rolling Stone Reader’s Choice Award.
That last category is where the power is passed over the music-loving public to determine the winner. Was there a local record that moved you to your core this year? A single that felt like it was written just for you? A national artist who encapsulated everything you think Australian music is and should be about? Well, now is the time to show up for that artist and recognise their contribution in YOUR life.
Last year, acclaimed singer-songwriter Gordi followed 2021 winners Midnight Oil in winning the Reader’s Choice Award, seeing off strong competition from the likes of Paul Kelly and Keith Urban.
To be eligible to nominate for the Rolling Stone Reader’s Choice Award, you need to have an active Rolling Stone Australia subscription.
From today until Sunday, March 12th, Rolling Stone Australia subscribers will be able to cast their vote for their favourite Australian artist in the Reader’s Choice Award category. If you currently don’t have a Rolling Stone Australia Magazine subscription, though, you can subscribe here.
You’ll also go in the running to win exclusive tickets to April’s Awards ceremony for you and three of your mates. Bring your best pals, bring your partner, even your kids if they’re over 18.
So if there’s an Australian artist who you think deserves to be honoured at this year’s Awards, then please make your voice heard.
Nominations for the Reader’s Choice Award are open now to all Rolling Stone Australia subscribers at the official voting portal. If you are not a current RS subscriber, you can join here.
