KLP and Anna Fitzgerald launch netball tournament for the music industry
KLP‘s health-focused Ricochet initiative, which she launched on International Women’s Day this year (March 8), has announced the first Ricochet BALL, a mixed netball competition for the music and creative industries.
With a goal to raise money for female-focused charities – and to bring people together in a safe, healthy and inclusive environment – the songwriter, DJ and radio host has teamed up with beloved music publicist (and TIO Award winner) Anna Fitzgerald for the first ever event.
KLP said, “It’s been a dream of mine for a few years now to launch Ricochet, so to be bringing it to life and launching what’s to come with the first Ricochet BALL is incredibly exciting.”
Set to take place on Friday, 28th September at the Robyn Webster Sports Centre in Sydney, the mixed netball competition is open to teams from record labels, touring agencies, media, musicians and other creatives. Ricochet BALL has even landed Nike as a sponsor to kit out all teams on the day.
Anna Fitzgerald said in a statement, “Kristy and I both had the same idea of launching a mixed netball competition for the music industry and we thought this year was the perfect time to make it happen. We hope everyone gets involved, starts training and raising money for their chosen charity!”
Registrations are limited, so teams are encouraged to register their interest at [email protected].
