Perth metal label Octane reveals its second signing, Silent Knight
Perth metal label Octane Records, which launched in June, has signed Silent Knight.
The power metal outfit which emerged in 2011 and created waves with debut album Masterplan two years later, will drop its third album in 2021.
“As a long time fan of the band and having worked with them as their booking agents for many months now, I cannot think of a better band to work with in pushing their music to the next level,” Label owner Bailey Graham said.
Silent Knight guitarist Stu McGill added: “We strongly believe in this partnership and are looking forward to growing together as we move towards next year and unleash our most exciting and aggressive album yet.”
Octane Records is part of Octane Entertainment which includes Overdrive Touring, Overdrive PR, Hard Drive Agency, The Runsheet, Forge Nightclub and Wacen Metal Battle.
The label was formed by Graham and East Coast PR veteran Chris Maric, to cover all genres within metal – power, folk, thrash, black, death, symphonic, epic, traditional and core.
It hit the road running, signing at launch with Aussie veterans Vanishing Point to release locally their next album to be issued worldwide on Germany’s AFM Records.
