The East Coast scores a new showcase for Australia’s best indie acts

Sydney-based PR and management company Rare Finds have launched a new touring and showcase initiative, which will see curated lineups of emerging acts performing monthly across the East Coast.

Rare Finds currently run successful nights in Brisbane and Sydney, and have worked with many of Australia’s top artists, such as Washington, Dappled Cities, and Dune Rats.

Rare Finds MD, Rob Carroll, explains the new initiative: “The Rare Finds nights serve to foster a scene within the Australian indie community and provide a strong live platform for outstanding emerging artists.

“One of the biggest challenges faced by artists, managers and agents at the early stages of an artist’s career, is developing a live following. With the launch of our Melbourne event, we’re now able to provide an East Coast touring platform to new acts, so they can play to ready-made crowds, which largely consist of industry, tastemakers and the core local indie community”.

The first run of shows are below, along with the latest clip from talented Sunshine Coast singer-songwriter Ayla, who headlines the first run of shows along with other acts like killer new electronic talent Otious and Brissy pop-rocker Royal & the Southern Echo.
