Radio Ratings Survey #2: triple j ratings take expected dive, Nova dominates

Radio Ratings Survey #2: triple j ratings take expected dive, Nova dominates

Radio Ratings Survey #2 results are in and NOVA Entertainment is the big winner, while triple j’s listeners have cooled off expectedly following the Hottest 100 boost in Survey #1.

“With triple j being all over Australia, this survey shows we’re quite steady with 1.926 million people listening per week in the 5 surveyed cities, where 2016’s average was 1.937 million per week,” said Ollie Wards, triple j Content Director.

“Every year triple j dips in Survey 2 after the Hottest 100 boost, so while some of the results today are down, they’re not surprising.”

It’s not all bad news for the national youth broadcaster, new hosts Ben and Liam are up in breakfast in Sydney and Perth.

See below for our analysis of today’s winners and losers across the airwaves.
