Peking Duk’s BMG publishing deal goes global

Peking Duk have extended their publishing deal with BMG to Australia and New Zealand, making it an exclusive global agreement.

The ARIA and APRA-award winning duo’s latest single ’Wasted’ has cemented their transition from triple j legends to commercial radio stars.

Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles first made waves on the scene with their4x Platinum 2014 single ’High’ featuring Nicole Millar on vocals – with the track hitting #2 on triple j’s Hottest 100, and also winning an ARIA for Best Dance Release.

They’ve put out a steady stream of hits since then, including 3x Platinum ’Take Me Over’ (featuring SAFIA), 3x Platinum ’Stranger’ (featuring Elliphant), ’Fake Magic’ (featuring AlunaGeorge) and ’Let You Down’ (with Icona Pop).

“Adam and Reuben are creative visionaries and their run of hits is unparalleled in recent years,” said BMG managing director Heath Johns.

“The whole global BMG team is delighted to extend our Peking Duk deal for the world and our incredible team in Australia is very excited to now have the rights for ANZ. We look forward to continuing our role as an active creative partner as the guys prepare their debut album.”

Peking Duk’s debut album is also reportedly in the works, adding another string to their bow of hit singles and wild live shows.

“The decision to sign with BMG for worldwide publishing was made based on multiple meetings in multiple continents,” said Peking Duk’s manager Ben Dennis.
