After a highly successful first year, UNIFY will return in January 2016 with a massive lineup that will include headline performances by Parkway Drive, In Hearts Wake and Tonight Alive, as part of an 18 band lineup over two days.
Early Bird tickets were released earlier this month to those that had attended the 2015 event and the 2000 ticket allocation sold out in a matter of hours.General ticket on sale will take place on Thursday, October 1 at 12pm AEST via 24Hundred.net
UNIFY is a two day boutique camping and music gathering set in the beautifully picturesque pastures of South Gippsland, a relaxed two-hour drive from Melbourne. The site is set across a secluded recreation reserve surrounded by greenery and a 10 minute drive from the ocean. While UNIFY 2015 famously sold out of its 3000 ticket allocation in just 3 hours, the site capacity has been increased to 5000 tickets in 2016. The second year of the event will also include international acts as part of the lineup, represented by Neck Deep (UK), State Champs (US) and Stray From The Path (US).
Parkway Drive will headline the Saturday evening of the event, after releasing their incredible new album 'Ire' today via Resist Records. As one of Australia’s biggest musical exports, Parkway are no stranger to the festival stage, having recently torn apart massive festival stages across Europe and in the process of playing huge rooms and arenas around Australia on their “Ire” Tour.
In Hearts Wake will make their triumphant return to UNIFY after their appearance on the first year lineup. With their new album, 'Skydancer', released in May to worldwide acclaim and a #2 ARIA Chart, the Byron Bay lads will have completed a full 12 months of non-stop touring around the world by the time they reach Tarwin Lower. This will be their last show before taking a well earned break.
Tonight Alive ended their 18 month world tour for ‘The Other Side’ on the main stage at Soundwave Festival 2015 and have since been hard at work on their new David Bendeth produced third full length. The recent Kerrang and Rock Sound cover stars will release their third album sometime in early 2016, with UNIFY being one of their first shows back after their 6 month break.
Neck Deep are the UK’s finest pop punk export, and have recently made huge waves with their second full length album 'Life’s Not Out To Get You', which was released in August via Hopeless / Unified. The album was a huge hit around the world, charting at #8 in the UK, #9in the USA and #28 in Australia. Their recent performances on Warped and Slam Dunk Festivals have shown the band to be one of the most buzzed about bands in the worldwide punk scene. Neck Deep will close Day Two of UNIFY on the Sunday.
State Champs will join Neck Deep on the Sunday. Having recently toured Australia with 5 Seconds Of Summer on the arena tour, the New York based punk act also sold out their side shows from the tour. Their new album 'Around The World and Back' will be released on October 16 via Pure Noise Records.
Stray From The Path will make their way over from New York in support of their latest album, 'Subliminal Criminals', which was released in August via UNFD. One of the coolest and most energetic live bands in heavy music, Stray have followed up their acclaimed slots on Northlane (2013) and The Amity Affliction (2014) Australian tours with a recently announced headline tour in January 2016.
Rounding out the lineup is an all Australian list of bands – Hands Like Houses, Dream On Dreamer, Make Them Suffer, Hellions, Trophy Eyes, Ocean Grove, Stories, Void Of Vision, Columbus and The Weight of Silence. There will also be an Unearthed competition slot available, and a supergroup cover band scheduled for late night entertainment on the Saturday.DJs for the event will include American Producer Will Putney, Festival Curator Luke Logemann, and DJ Sandstorm (Jake Sheppard) with more to be announced.
Tickets include free camping, live music, BYO and Licensed a areas, themed bars and cocktails, mini golf, giant connect four & giant jenga, life-size foosball, chill out areas, hand-selected food trucks and local vendors, 24Hundred garage sals and much more!
