ONE OFF TRAKS Creative Camp Names Class of 2024

ONE OFF TRAKS unveils the class of 2024 writing camp, a cadre of all-female, trans and non-binary creatives who will participate in a four-day meeting-of-minds next month in Sydney, on Gadigal Land.

Coinciding with International Women’s Day, 25 producers, artists and songwriters are selected from across Australia for the program, which comprises curated song-writing sessions, led by Milan Ring, Lucy Blomkamp and Maribelle Añes; and music industry workshops.

Previous attendees of the ONE OFF TRAKS writing camp include ARIA Award nominated singer Chanel Loren, Siala, KARALEE, Anesu, tiffi, GLO, and Dylan Atlantis in 2023.

Set for April 9-12, this year’s edition of ONE OFF TRAKS received more than 200 applications, organisers say.

Entering its second year, ONE OFF TRAKS and is guided by Carolina De La Piedra (Elefant Traks), Jannah Beth (Offbeat Collective/ Elefant Traks), Minori Ueda (One Day) and Nazlican Eren (One Day).

The creative camp, says reps, aims to “empower, amplify, and arm” female, trans, and non-binary artists with the tools they need to thrive within a male-dominated industry.

“We’re so excited to reveal ONE OFF TRAKS class of 2024,” reads a statement from its founders.

“We’ve leveled up to be able to invite artists nationwide to join in for four days of writing music and making meaningful connections. These artists are ready to take the step in their music journey, which includes getting to collaborate with world-renowned producers Milan Ring, Lucy Blomkamp and Maribelle Anes.”

Applications are now open for Eora/Sydney-based artists, producers or songwriters for the final wildcard spot of ONE OFF TRAKS’ 2024 writing camp.
