On The Dial: Tom Ballard returns to Triple J, 2Day FM Founder dies, Mediaworks CEO resigns

Craig Bruce and Mike Fitzpatrick talk about tomorrow’s survey

SCA Head of Content Craig Bruce, and Triple M Group Content Director Mike Fitzpatrick, have sat down for the now traditional pre-survey’SCA Engage’ video.
They’ve kicked around how the Triple M format sits in the market, and given their forecasts on survey next week for the brand.

As you’d expect, both were confident of the position Triple M is occupying, and the environment it has created for listeners and clients.

Two radio passings in the past week

Smooth turn on the charm

NOVA Entertainment has partnered with Art Series Hotel Group in Melbourne to create an experiential extension of the smoothfm brand.

The smooth suite will be a pop up accommodation experience at The Blackman Hotel on St Kilda Road, and is designed to create an immersion experience on the smooth brand for clients.

Guests can enjoy dinner and champagne at the hotel, with the smoothfm playlist playing in the suite following dinner. Clients will also receive two smoothfm robes as a memento of their stay.

Tom Ballard has returned to Triple J

During the survey break Tom is filling in for John Saffran on Sunday nights on Triple J, hosting a show called Chatback.
