Blake has 25 years of experience in radio, including many years with Austereo at B105 and Triple M Brisbane, and FM104.7 in Canberra; as well as previously having worked with 4BC. She has also presented on TEN Brisbane.
She commented: “I adore 4BC. It’s a local radio station that’s all about Brisbane issues and the community, and it’s great to be part of the new line up. There is a great energy in the building.
“I’m thrilled to be hosting my favourite timeslot with Pricey. I’ve known him a long time and love Afternoons. It’s fun, local and you speak with great callers who ring in to take part in engaging discussions.”

Leeds joins ARN after 13 years with Network Ten, most recently as General Manager for Ten Brisbane. He has previously held market-focused and national sales positions in Melbourne.

Change on 2Day FM workday
With survey 1 well underway, we noticed there seemed to be a change in the workday on 2Day FM.
Their website all of a sudden didn’t list Dan ’Mandy’ Cassin as part of the lineup and Ellie Mobbs was scheduled to do 9am – 3pm each day. Listening over a couple of days that was also the case.
2Day FM Content Director Donna Puechmarin told us that because Mandy is an experienced anchor, he is now working closely with 2Day Breakfast.
This operational change means Ellie Mobbs will now be their 9am – 3pm announcer.

Kiss Melbourne ramp up legal action
With the launch of KIIS in Sydney, Melbourne dance station Kiss FM has said that they will not be giving up the brand that they have operated as for 20 years.
Kiss FM has accused ARN of “damaging” and “diluting” the “proud heritage of the Kiss FM brand by unauthorised use of the Kiss FM brand as a mainstream, commercial station”
Whilst ARN has negotiated with Kiss FM, the Melbourne narrowcast brand has accused them of treating KISS Melbourne with contempt, saying ARN has acted “as if it is their God-given commercial right to use the name and force Kiss to accept it”.
Kiss FM have sought a resolution with an application to the Federal Court to stop ARN using the name. You can see their full statement below.
