Nordoff-Robbins announces 21st annual music quiz, Zan Rowe to host
Australia’s longest-running music quiz, the Nordoff Robbins Music Quiz, returns this year for its 21st anniversary.
Returning to the iconic Crystal Ballroom at Luna Park Sydney, this year’s event will see the “who’s who” of the industry come together, raising awareness of the important work the not-for-profit does.
Zan Rowe has been tapped for the top honour this year, announcing she’ll be the event’s host.
“I’m a long-time admirer of the work that Nordoff-Robbins does,”
Rowe continues, “I’m honoured to be hosting the legendary music quiz and witness the ultimate battle of music industry minds.”
The event has boasted past quizzers including Jenny Morris (APRA), Iva Davies (Icehouse), Peter Garrett (Midnight Oil), Dave Faulkner (Hoodoo Gurus), Deni Hynes (Rockmelons), Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel), Reg Mombassa (Mental As Anything), and Diesel.
Nordoff-Robbins is renowned for transforming the lives of people through music’s healing power. They’re Australia’s leading music therapy not-for-profit, and the largest employer of registered music therapists nationwide.
The organisation prides itself on working with people of all ages, with varied abilities and conditions.
For this year’s event, Nordoff-Robbins is partnering with Sounds Familiar Music Quiz – the UK’s latest music quiz craze. The event promises exciting entertainment, and prizes, with one common goal in mind – find the biggest music nerd in the room.
Tickets for Nordoff-Robbins Music Quiz are available now, but are moving fast. This event takes place Thursday 4 April at Luna Park, Sydney.
