Nollsie and DZ Deathrays on track for Top 5 ARIA debuts this week

Nollsie and DZ Deathrays on track for Top 5 ARIA debuts this week

Shannon Noll released his fifth studio album last Friday, Unbroken. “I grew up listening to ‘Great Southern Land’ and ‘Sounds of Then’ and they hold a really special place in my heart because they celebrate who we are and our love of Australia”, Nollsie told news.com.au and he really meant it.

This new record opens with an anthem named ‘Southern Sky’, which is followed by ‘Who I Am’ (Living In The City Mix). Track three is literally about a B&S ball “Sat’day nights in our Sunday best”. We see what you’re doing Nollsie, and we love it. So does Australia, as the album looks set to debut in the Top 5 this weekend. The only other record likely to debut higher this week is Justin Timberlake’s own return to nature ‘Man Of The Woods’, while DZ Deathray’s ‘Bloody Lovely’ (I had to double-check that I hadn’t muddled this and Nollsie’s titles) also looks likely to land in the top 5.

The ARIA charts come out 6pm on Saturday, unless something goes horribly wrong.
