Niche Productions recruits Daniel Sant to lead Talent Agency

Daniel Sant has jumped from The Harbour Agency to Niche Productions where he’ll lead the rebooted Niche Talent Agency.

At Niche, Sant will oversee a stable of artists which includes Thundamentals, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Hiatus Kaiyote, M-Phazes, Winston Surfshirt, REMI, Slum Sociable, Sampa The Great and more.

An agent at Harbour for eight years, Sant brings with him a roster which includes Sticky Fingers, SAFIA, Boo Seeka, Kim Churchill, Hellions, sleepmakeswaves, Parcels, Movement, Jack Grace, Glades and Little May.

“I’ve always had a great respect for Daniel, his work ethic, and commitment to his artists,” comments founder James Browning in a statement. “I am really excited to have such esteemed artists join Niche and look forward to working together closely in the expansion of Niche’s agency roster.”

Adds Sant, “The more James and I spoke about this deal and the team at Niche, the more I realised how special this is. I feel like we see so clearly how the touring industry should evolve and how to bring more, ground breaking opportunities to the artists on our roster.”

Niche, he notes, has “such a strong reputation, especially with the overseas hip-hop & electronic industries” and “I can’t wait to be a part and contribute to the vision we both share for our artists and the live touring market.”

Browning launched Niche in 2004 as a boutique touring business and artist booking agency with an MO to “satisfy a gap that needed to be filled for the emerging underground sounds that were under represented in the Australian market.”

Niche’s busy calendar includes upcoming tours featuring Anderson .Paak, J. Cole. Khalid, Macklemore, Yelawolf, Kamasi Washington and many more.
