ARIA Charts: Keith Urban Lands No. 1 Australian Album With 'Flow State'

Keith Urban has now scored ten top 10 albums with his latest LP. flow state.

The New-Zealand-born-Australian-raised songwriter's 13th record has debuted at No. 1 on the Australian Albums chart and No. 5 on the main Albums chart.

Urban's previous entries include Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing (No. 5 in 2006), Greatest Hits: 18 Kids (No. 7 in 2007), Defying Gravity (No. 3 in 2009), The Story So Far (No. 1 in 2012), Fuse (No. 1 in 2013), Ripcord (No. 1 in 2016), Graffiti U (No. 2 in 2018), The Speed Of Now Part 1 (No. 1 in 2020) and High (No. 3 in 2024).

Perhaps unsurprisingly, top spot on the ARIA Albums chart this week has been taken out by US popstar Olivia Rodrigo with her third record, You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love. Her first album, Sour, spent eight weeks at No. 1 in 2021 and Guts topped the chart for two weeks in 2023.

Other album debuts this week include Josh Pyke's Kingdom Within (No. 6), Perth band South Summit's Run It Back (No. 10), and Ruel's Kicking My Feet & Screaming (No. 25).

Over on the Singles chart, Rodrigo has dominated the list this week, with all 13 tracks from her new album in the top 30, including “stupid song” at No. 1, “the cure” at No. 2 and “drop dead” at No. 4.
