ARIA Charts: Perth Band DICE Score Highest Ever Debut

Australian indie rockers DICE have taken out the No. 1 spot on this week's Australian Albums Chart with I Thought The Altitude Would Make it Worth The View.

The record has also debuted at No. 13 on the main Albums list. Their first album, 2024's Midnight Zoo, peaked at No. 27.

Taking out No. 1 this week, however, is pop star Ariana Grande with Petal. It's the US star's eighth studio effort and sixth to reach top spot in Australia following My Everything in 2014, Dangerous Woman in 2016, Sweetener in 2018, Thank U, Next in 2019 and Eternal Sunshine in 2024. Petal also takes the No. 1 spot on the Vinyl Chart.

Other album debuts this week include PNAU's AHHCade (No. 33 and No. 3 on the Australian Albums chart), UK singer Erin LeCount's Pareidolia (No. 29) and Montana duo Buffalo Traffic's Pictures of You (No. 31).

Over on the Singles chart, Ella Langley stays on top with “Choosin' Texas” for a ninth consecutive week.
