ARIA Charts: Casey Barnes Scores No. 1 Australian Album

Casey Barnes' latest album, MADE FOR THIS, has debuted at No. 1 on this week's ARIA Australian Artist Albums chart.

The Tasmanian singer-songwriter's eighth record has also hit No.1 on the Country Albums list and No. 6 on the main Albums list, marking his highest debut ever. 2024's Mayday peaked at No. 11, while 2022's Light it Up reached No. 17.

On the Albums chart, Olivia Rodrigo has regained top position with you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love for a fifth non-consecutive week, ahead of Stray Kids at No. 3 with their EP, This & That. The K-pop group – featuring Australian artists Felix and Bangchan – have now landed in the top 20 in Australia nine times.

Other album debuts this week include Role Model's Chuck Timely & The Hourglass (No. 4), Electric Callboy's Tanzneid (No. 11), Bachelor Girl's reimagined version of their 1998 debut Waiting For the Day (No. 34), Don Walker's Love Songs (No. 41) and WA-born artist Rowena Wise's Bad Things Feel Good (No. 44).

US star Ella Langley has made it 10 weeks atop the Singles chart with “Choosin' Texas," which is now the longest-running No. 1 track of the year only behind Olivia Dean's “Man I Need.” The UK singer's hit spent 15 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the chart.
