ARIA Charts: Country Artist Amber Lawrence Tops Australian Albums List
Amber Lawrence has scored her first-ever Australian Albums No. 1 record with her eighth LP, 'Suburban Cowgirl'.

Amber Lawrence has scored her first-ever Australian Albums No. 1 record with her eighth LP, Suburban Cowgirl.
Not only has the Sydney-born songwriter's new album debuted at top spot locally, but it has also placed at No. 18 on the main ARIA Albums list. Her last record, 2022's Living for the Highlights, peaked at No. 5.
“We did it,” Lawrence said on Friday.
"THANK YOU. I'm so proud and grateful.
Meanwhile, Paul McCartney's 27th studio album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, has debuted on the ARIA Albums chart at No. 5 and No. 3 on the Vinyls chart. He has now landed 18 top 10 albums. As part of the Beatles, the music icon racked up more than a dozen No. 1 albums in Australia.
Other album debuts this week include Boards of Canada's Inferno (No. 3), Shinedown's EI8HT (No. 7), Aespa's Lemonade (No. 24) and Australian singer Chloe Parche's Sitting Next to Nellie EP (No. 34 and No. 2 on the Australian Albums chart).

Over on the Singles chart, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” takes back the No. 1 spot for its third non-consecutive week on top.
