New World Artists Signs Daine For Bookings (EXCLUSIVE)
Daine signs an exclusive booking agency deal with Edwin Tehrani at New World Artists and lands a U.S.-based live rep, The Music Network can exclusively reveal.
Currently, daine is opening for Bring Me The Horizon on a national arena tour, with dates at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena in the books, and stops in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane coming up.
Daine has both critics and a-list artists on their side, and, now, two more pieces locked in for their international concerts network.
Guided and mentored by award-winning British producer and artist Charli XCX, Daine has scored positive coverage in Vogue, BBC Radio 1, Kerrang, Rolling Stone and NME, which has described the artist as “a future emo icon.”
Daine, based in Melbourne, born in the Philippines, got things moving with their first EP, Quantum Jumping, in 2022, and followed-up with the 2023 mixtape Shapeless.
A string of singles followed, and collaborators have lined-up, including Bring Me the Horizon’s Oli Sykes (on “Salt”), 100 Gec’s Dylan Brady (“boys wanna txt”), and fresh cut “Shades On,” an electro-pop banger featuring U.S. singer and rapper Kreayshawn.
Alongside the New World Artists partnership, Natasha Parish at Ground Control will represent daine for North America bookings, joining the agency’s roster that includes titans DEHD and yeule.
With those arrangements, notes Tehrani, daine “enters a new chapter, poised to push boundaries and carve out a lasting legacy resonating with fans across the globe.”
Blending alternative pop with elements of metal and punk, daine’s “impact goes beyond the music, resonating deeply with fans as a Filipino, neurodivergent, and non-binary creative,” reads a statement from New World Artists.
“Their authenticity and resilience have inspired a creative renaissance in the world of alternative pop music.”
At New World Artists, daine joins a talent roster that includes Mallrat, Ninajirachi and 1300.
Their next solo appearance is May 7 at Machine Hall’s CLUB 4A for Vivid.
