Music biz swings behind Roady4Roadies
The music biz has swung behind the inaugural Roady4Roadies.
The family orientated national event next month aims to bring public awareness to the immense contribution that road crews make to the live music sector, and to raise funds via Support Act Ltd for those in financial and health crisis.
In the latest moves, Moshtix is donating all booking fees to Support Act.
Entertainment health, risk and safety management company The Hemisphere Management Group, will be present at their Health and Wellness stand at every Roady4Roadies event.
Some of Australia’s biggest acts will be announced soon to play at the events.
The day begins with a leisurely 3-5kms walk capped to 300 people, each paying an entry fee of $30.
Tickets are currently on sale through Moshtix.
Every participant receives a t-shirt, wristband, laminate and lanyard, with water and sunscreen provided along the way.
At the end, there are roadie-themed activities to show off roadies’ creative and tech skills.
These include BBQ’s, prizes and Roadie Games for the kids.
The Crewathlon is a friendly competition between teams of roadies, with awards, speeches and prizes.
Raffles include major prizes as $850-valued road cases.
