MUSEXPO’s Creative Summit to maintain sync focus in 2019
MUSEXPO Creative Summit 2019’s focus will be on the global sync arena, covering film, TV, gaming, trailers, advertising and brand integration.
Among sessions confirmed are the creative music strategies of NBCUniversal and the Walt Disney Company.
Returning is MUSEXPO’s Global & Brands Summit round-table face-to-face meetings to give attendees the opportunity to interact directly with leaders from the sync community and beyond.
2019 will again feature a number of opportunities for delegates to have their music heard by music supervision executives.
The summit is held March 24-29 as part of California Entertainment Week at its new venue, Castaway in Burbank.
Sessions also cover A&R, songwriting, production and marketing.
Music supervisor and brand executives confirmed to participate include Alex Hackford – Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation; Areli Quirarte – Paramount Pictures; Tara Piper – The Coca-Cola Company; Eric Polin – Universal Pictures; and Scotty Schneider – Fox Broadcasting Company.
Other execs include Sam Smith and Rag’N’Bone Man producer Steve Fitzmaurice; producer/songwriter Billy Mann; Sony/ATV’s co-head of A&R West Coast Jennifer Knoepfle; BMG’s EVP of global recordings Fred Casimir; Capitol UK’s co-presidents Nick Raphael and Jo Charrington; Warner Music’s Aton Ben-Horin; RCA co-president John Fleckenstein; and Spotify’s head of songwriter relations Paul Adam among many others.
Thus month MUSEXPO founder Sat Bisla was honoured with the Founders’ Award from the Association Of Media & Entertainment Counsel which represents 14,000 entertainment and media attorneys.
He was only the second non-attorney to receive the award.
