MTV Australia launches new collection of music channels
Kicking off today, MTV Australia launches a new collection of music channels that are sure to take any music lover’s fancy.
Expanding the portfolio of music channels, MTV Australia is bringing MTV HITS, Club MTV, MTV Classic, and CMT (Country Music Television) to the screens for our enjoyment.
MTV HITS will showcase chart-topping songs, in addition to both global and Australia-wide headliners, where the channel will basically be a non-stop music festival for you to jam out to in your living room.
Club MTV is curated to be the channel “that never sleeps,” as the massive dance party of R&B, hip-hop, and dance hits are ceaseless, 24/7.
In need of something a little more relaxed? MTV Classic will be showcasing local and global stars from the ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s that bring you good tunes with a dash of nostalgia.
Lastly, CMT is set to only bring you the best in country music. Whether you prefer it coming from Nashville or Tamworth, it’ll be chock-full of country goodness.
With so many genres on offer, music fans can dive deeper into tunes than before with rock and pop, country, contemporary, and even R&B, dance, and easy listening, you’ll never be left wanting for tunes.
The new channels will additionally be specifically curated for Australian audiences, as the channels will be programmed locally, so you’ll have a good amount of Aussie music interspersed with other world-wide hits.
This new launch showcases MTV Australia, and their ever-evolving music strategy in their commitment to supporting both international headliners, as well as good ol’ local acts.
In addition to all their other brilliant productions, MTV HITS, Club MTV, MTV Classic and CMT will be hitting the screens via Foxtel starting today, with the MTV music collection also popping up on Fetch beginning today, Wednesday, July 1st.
