Midweek ARIA Predictions: The Veronicas & Broods eye #1
ARIA Singles
The Veronicas could potentially earn a third #1 single next week with In My Blood predicted to shoot up to the Top 3 from #22. To do so however, they’ll need to outsell Calvin Harris’ former #1 This Is What You Came For and Drake’s One Dance ft. Wiz Kid & Kyla, which is currently on its sixth week at #1.
Adele’s latest effort Send My Love (To Your New Lover) is on track to take a new peak in the Top 20 from #24. Imany’s Don’t Be So Shy continues to benefit from the Filatov & Karas remix, now on track for the Top 20 as well, currently sitting at #26.
Troye Sivan’s re-recorded version of Wild(that now features Alessia Cara) will see a reasonably high debut on the Singles chart in the Top 25, while Ellie Drennan’s Hard Love and Delta Goodrem’s Enough ft. Gizzle will both debut in the Top 40.
ARIA Albums
Brother-sister duo Broods could have their first #1 on their hands with Conscious next week. Their sophomore record, currently on track for the Top 3 is the follow up to 2014’s debut Evergreen which peaked at #5. Conscious features ARIA #30 charting singleFree.
Prince’s albums continue to see posthumous success with The Very Best Of on track to move back into the Top 15 from its current #18 position. Taylor Swift’s 1989 will track the Top 15 too from #21, while Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams will move further into the Top 20 from #20.
